Our Mission

The primary objective of the Lime Rock Fire Department
is the protectionof human life and property from fire,
and the prevention and suppression of fire. In addition, it
shall be the prompt duty of the Fire Department to
remove, or cause the removal of, all persons from danger,
whatever the cause. Our firefighting force will be trained
and equipped to all State and national standards.

2010 Water Emergencys

Lime Rock Fire Department and on and off duty firefighters, responded to over 100 calls for Lime Rock Residences having water problems of one kind or another. Water in basements were at levels any where from 1 inch to 4 feet.

Lime Rock Crews worked around the clock for 4 days doing their best to help as many residence that was possible. Lime Rock deployed as many as 20 or more pumps at all times. Pumps ranged from small garden hose residential type, comercial 1 1/2" discharge type to gas powered units.

We are confident that we were able to assist all that requested our services going above and beyond with boiler problems, hot water heaters, repair of home owners pumps and many other services that we could supply. We welcome any remarks on our contact section on this site.
