STATEMENT FROM THE CHIEF

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our employees, I would like to welcome you to the Lime Rock Fire District website. 

The Fire District is a recognized leader in providing fire, rescue and emergency medical services. We are committed to providing high quality, essential services in our community and throughout the Blackstone Valley
            
The members of the Fire District are the most valuable resource in providing our citizens with the help that they need, when they need it. Our members work hard every day to meet the needs of the residents and visitors. Providing exceptional customer service is our top priority. 

The Lime Rock Fire District provides much more to the community than just fire suppression. The District is an active leader in Emergency Medical Services, hazardous materials operations response and marine rescues.  Supplementing the emergency services, we provide progressive, cutting-edge fire prevention and community education programs. 

The Lime Rock Fire District recognizes its importance within the community. We as an organization are honored to have a highly qualified, competent and diverse workforce. Through the organization's commitment to continually developing our employees at all levels, we strive to be a leader in the great communities that we serve. We partner with the fire districts of Lincoln, Manville, and Quinville along with our neighboring fire agencies of Burriville, Central Falls, Cumberland, North Providence, North Smithfield, Smithfield and Woonsocket to help improve the overall safety in our area.
